Exposed Aggregate Finish
Retarders are painted onto the surface of the mould to chemically delay that surface’s setting time, so that the aggregate may be exposed after stripping using a combination of brushing and water blasting. Retarding agents are available in a range of strengths to give different depths of exposure.
