About The Project

An iconic Brisbane landmark, the Commonwealth Bank Brisbane Building is a classic example of a highly sculptured reconstituted granite façade created with polished precast.

Located at the end of the Queen St Mall, this classically elegant facade has stood the test of time with the self-cleaning properties of polished concrete still looking fantastic after 35 years of service.

All of the equipment used to manufacture and polish the precast panels is still in service in our Brisbane facility and we are very proud that we have retained a significant number of employees still working at Precast that were here when we made these panels in the late eighties.

A classic example of the heyday of reconstituted granite finishes throughout the country, a trend that will no doubt repeat in coming years.
