About The Project

As the name indicated, this client was all about speed of construction. The hybrid building utilized decorative block walls with hollowcore floors.

Careful consideration was given to the location of all the services through the building which allowed most of the hardware to be located in the cores of the planks. Where that wasn’t possible ceiling tracks were attached to the hollowcore soffit.

These low-cost apartments were also extremely quick to build with vastly reduced formwork or back propping required.
