About The Project

The Wave is a residential skyscraper with an unusual appearance on the Gold Coast, Australia. It rises to a height of 111 m and has 34 floors. It is located at the corner of Surf Parade and Victoria Avenue, Broadbeach.

The curved balcony edges form a striking pattern when viewed from the ground. The pattern repeats every 4th floor resulting in a pattern that resmbles a helix up the building. The balcony panels were erected onto the formwork deck with projecting starter bars then the balcony slab was poured against the precast panels.
