The extraordinary Chau Chak Wing Museum, a remarkable addition to Sydney University, has garnered a remarkable collection of accolades since its completion last year. Now, making waves on the international scene, the Museum has received esteemed recognition at the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards, securing the top spot in the Mid-Rise Structures category and earning the coveted Overall Winner title.
The ACI Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards serve as a platform to honor concrete projects that exemplify innovation and technological advancements. These awards highlight projects that inspire excellence in both design and construction, transcending geographical boundaries. To be recognized on such a global stage is a momentous accomplishment for The University of Sydney and FDC Construction alike.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to all those involved in bringing this exceptional project to fruition. Our appreciation goes to The University of Sydney, as well as our esteemed project partners, JPW, Northrop, Mahaffey Associates, and the dedicated team at FDC led by Branko Mihaljevic and Garrett Cassettari.
